Dr Andy Broughan

My first Chiropractic experience was as a teenager suffering lower back pain while playing AFL in rural NSW.

I always wanted to work in the health sector helping people to have a better quality of life. I studied Medical Science at UNSW before pursuing a Master’s in Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney.

In 2000 I moved to Peru seeking adventure and this started a 6-year love affair with South America where I helped to pioneer the profession in this part of the world. In 2003 I moved to Brazil and whilst working I also taught Chiropractic at Anhembi Morumbi Uni, the first World Federation of Chiropractic accredited course in South America. Regularly appearing on national TV and radio programs and treating presidential candidates, gold medal Olympians and UFC champions.

In 2006 I returned to Australia, homesick for family and the amazing Aussie lifestyle we have the privilege to enjoy. Moving to Sydney and working on the lower North Shore whilst also as a Clinical Supervisor, mentoring students at the Macquarie University Outpatient Clinic for a number of years. In 2012 I purchased a family focused Chiropractic practice in Leichhardt- best known as the hub of Sydney’s Italian Community. 

Whist enjoying the cultural offerings of Sydney’s Inner West, in 2020 I sold my practice, desiring a move to the Gold Coast to enjoy the Gold Coast lifestyle and have been reunited with old friends in the local community. I now live nearby in Coomera Waters.

I am super excited to be serving the health needs of Coomera and surrounds!
